At many customers request we have had a Qualitative Bio-Assay taken of our compost through the soil testing lab at the Rodale Institute. Below please find our results:
Total Bacteria: (micrograms/grams) 29,850
Total Fungi: (micrograms/grams) 88
Protozoa (numbers of flagellates & amoebae)
Nematodes (numbers of majors groups observed)
300 Bacterial Feeding
Types of bacteria observed:
A variety of cocci and rod shaped bacteria were observed. No pathogenic bacteria were observed.
Beneficial vs Pathogenic fungi (based on morphology:
mostly beneficial fungi were found
Some protozoa were observed, these are very beneficial. The cycle nutrients feeding your plants the nutrients your plants need.
Bacterial feeding nematodes were observed, these are beneficial nematodes. These organisms also cycle beneficial nutrients.
